Divine Intelligence, the double BEFFTA Award-winning film created by UK-based multi-skilled and multi-professional Ghanaian, Sammy Ankrah, is set to screen at the Efua Sutherland Drama Studio of the School of Performing Arts, University of Ghana, Legon, on 12th February, 2017, from 4 p.m.

The film, which received a lot of positive reviews and commendations from film lovers and the public including many Christians when it was released in the UK late last year, has received endorsement from some religious heavyweights in Ghana, including the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Ghana - Rev Dr Paul Yaw Frimpong Manso.

According to, ATLAA PALMY Media, the promoters of the film in Ghana, the entertaining and educative film which deals with relevant everyday life issues as well as exposes some of the cunning strategies of charlatans, is also currently being reviewed for endorsement by the General Overseers of most churches in Ghana.

The endorsement statement from Rev Dr Paul Frimpong Manso, written on a headed paper of The General Council of Assemblies of God, Ghana, and sighted by the reporter read in part,

"The film 'Divine Intelligence' is a well thought-out and professionally acted film to educate the general public on the clandestine strategies used by certain "men of God" to deceive church members and other patrons … I endorse it for viewing in churches and other public places as part of the efforts to expose charlatans in the church, and thereby protect innocent people from becoming victims to such nefarious acts."

The film's promoters say they intend to show the film at an affordable charge in educational institutions, churches (per agreed terms and conditions with relevant authorities) as well as other relevant public places and entertainment venues as has been done in the UK.

The film director, Sammy Ankrah (a Geo-Environmental Engineering Consultant, Ex-teacher, Writer, Preacher, Film Maker, etc) and some of the cast members are confirmed to be present at the Legon screening on the 12th.

Per publicity materials sighted on Legon campus, as promotion, patrons for the Legon screening could get their tickets for as low as half the standard gate fee when they call the ticket hotlines below to buy their tickets in advance of the screening date. Call the ticket hotlines below to enquire.
